Rome Total War Offers a large number of playable factions to play as. Players can play online battles against real people. The game also offers two different types of campaigns, Long and short. If the campaign still isn’t enough players can also play historical battles or random battles. The AI (artificial intelligence) in this games is reasonable and the graphics are average. Rome Total War was developed by The Creative Assembly and released by Activision on the 22nd September 2004. The games campaign modes each offer very strategic gameplay and really does test your brain, although the player is not needed to be a rocket scientist. The players can also choose to play historical or random battles if the camaign modes aren’t enough. The games AI (Artificial intelligence) is reasonable, bearing in mind that it can out move the player but also at times would rather stand still and take hits from the player instead. Rome Total War does a good job of teaching the player history, by nicely presenting historical facts that don’t get annoying seeing as they don’t get in the way.The game has an average level of graphics but can be expected bearing in mind it was released in 2004. Overall Rome Total War is a very fun and addictive RTS game to play and is rated 6.5/10 by The Gamers Review. |
